Interim Director Consultant over Ambulatory ASC and Multi-Specialty Physician Clinics RCM (Revenue Cycle Management)
 
We have an immediate need for an Interim Director of Revenue Cycle Management RCM over Ambulatory/Multi-Specialty Clinics in the Sacramento California arae. This will be an onsite consulting role and the subject matter expert and to lead project management teams for a Revenue Cycle process improvement campaign on the Ambulatory/Multi Specialty Clinic side of a not for profit health system. There are 11 clinics, including ASC and 130 + providers. The goals of the position are directly related to projects and will have strategy and operational oversight of internal project management teams. Specifically, to redesign call center, find a single eligibility vendor, increase POS collections, implement ABN processing and reduce denials. Current or previous Cerner experience would be highly preferred

Experience:
a.  Strong Leader with exceptional People Skills with specific Ambulatory Revenue Cycle / Multi Specialty Experience with proven results.
b. Process Improvements Desired: Improve collections at the Point of Service, Improve Scheduling Eligibility and Verification, Stay on Top of Coding and Billing and make sure that they ASC’s are maximizing revenue for the physicians by using the proper procedural billing codes. Streamline and improve existing processes and develop New Process Improvement Recommendations with Hospital System CFO.
c. People Skills Needed: Seeking a strong leader with exceptional Physician relationship building skills who can work in close partnership with System CFO, ASC and Clinic Administrators/Managers/Physicians.
d. Software: Strong working knowledge of Cerner
‚ÄčEducation:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience of ASC and/or Multi Specialty Clinic RCM experience
  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year experience as a manager
